Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu : Upon arrival meet to assistance transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. Kathmandu Valley was once a great lake and Manjushree is said to have slashed a hill, which is presently known as Chovar, to drain the water to give us Kathmandu valley as we know it. This small valley surrounded by mountain and hills that soar up to the sky has seen kingdoms rise and fall and Nepalese art and culture develop and flourished. Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan, the three district that make up the valley, each have extraordinary history that rivals each other. The commercial and political hub of the kingdom, Kathmandu is the most densely populated city in the whole country. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu : After breakfast full day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley Swyambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square, Budhanilkantha and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight at Hotel. Swyambhunath believed to be one of the oldest of Buddhist stupas this glorious manmade landmark is perched on a hillock in the western part of the city. Referred to as the monkey temple, this instantly recognizable structure with the all seeing eyes of the Buddha. Pashupathinath temple is located on the bank of Bagmati, one of the holiest rivers. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the destroyer and creator of the Hindu pantheon, this is the holiest of Hindu shrines. Bodhanath the huge edifice is the largest stupa in the world measuring a massive 27 meters in diameter. It is built on a huge base that symbolizes a mandala. On the base stand 13 tiered spires representing the 13 steps in the journey to Nirvana topped by an umbrella. Kathmandu Durbar Square is located in the center of the city. A cluster of beautiful architectural delights surrounds the huge square. The Kasthamandap, built probabley in the 12th century, is a wonderful example of craftsmanship made from a single tree. The Kumari Mahal on the southern side of the square is the residence of Kumari "the living goddess", who is chosen, form a special clan called the Shakyas. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu-Nagarkot (2175m): Morning, after breakfast commence journey to another site of Kathmandu Valley, as Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Budhanilakantha and Patan. Bhaktapur situated on the bank of Hanumante River, Bhaktapur was the capital of the whole valley until Prithvi Narayan Shah. The city thrived as a transit point during this era and until today the remnants of its glory, rich cultural heritage and architecture it evident. The five storied Natyapola temple fashioned as a pagoda the Dattareya temple and the Durbar Square are the most prominent landmarks. Budhanilakantha is located 9 kms north at the base of Shivapuri hill dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Among his man manifestation one of his incarnations Narayan, is said to be the creator of the world. Patan also known as Lalitpur, it has a long and proud history. Patan is well known for its craftsmen. The highlight of the city is the royal complex and the intricately carved temples and Palaces which is undoubtedly one of the most visually stimulating displays of Newari architecture.
Day 04: Nagarkot-Kathmandu via Dhulikhel: After early breakfast drive back to Kathmandu valley on arrival check in hotel, en route, visit Dhulikhel, popular as a Himalayan viewpoints this small town is around 30 km from Kathmandu, located on the Arniko highway that connects Nepal and Tibet, the small town still retains its ancient grandeur, age old customs, temples and houses, later drive back to Kathamandu, rest of the time visit local market and Narayanhiti Palace. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Kathmandu-Pokhara: After breakfast drive to Pokhara the principle tourist spot for every tourist even Adventure or Cultural. Pokhara valley is situated at an altitude of 830m. and 200 km from Kathmandu Valley. It has a rare combination of the long arrays of snow clad peaks, crystal clear lakes, turbulent river, with deep gorges and picturesque village. It has also offers fantabulous view of mount Annapurna and Fishtail. En route visit small Nepalese villages and hamlet. On arrival at Pokhara, check in hotel. Rest of the time free. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Pokhara: After breakfast, full day local sightseeing of Pokhara valley. Visit Barahi Temple, World Peace Pagoda, Gupteshwar Cave, David Water Fall & local markets. The Barahi Temple is situated almost in the Center of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protester deity representing the female force Shakti. World Peace Pagoda this pagoda is situated on the top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. It has four images of Buddha facing in our directions. The pagoda is an impressive sight and its hilltop location commands great view. It is a great vantage point, which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara city. Gupteshwar Cave, just opposite of Devi's fall, on the other side of the road there is Gupteshwor Cave. This cave is popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits. Rest of the time visit local market surrounded the Phewal Lake. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Pokhara-Chitwan National Park: Early in the morning after breakfast drive to Tarai, Gangetic Plain, the wildlife reserves located in the flood plains of the country attract visitors from all over the world. A foray into the deep jungles of the terrain is stepping into the domain of the Royal Bengal Tiger, Royal Chitwan. Visit a wonderful world of lush sub-tropical jungles, tall elephant grass, lakes and rivers – a home for some of the most endangered animals on earth, the elusive tiger and the prehistoric rhinoceros, including many species of mammals, birds, insects and reptiles. Make your tour on elephant back, by jeep and on boat. Savor the forest and its unique sanctuary through a quite natural walk with a local guide. To quench the interest of viewing watchful flight of rare birds and wild buffaloes, the Kosi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, in south-east Nepal, provides a unique venue for watching migratory waterfowl, waders and shore birds that congregate along the Kosi River from December to February every year. Overnight at Tented camps or hotel.
Day 08 : Chitwan National Park: Full day jungle safari in the Chitwan National Park. Overnight at Tented accommodation.
Day 09: Chitwan National Park: Full day Elephant Safari and Birds watching. Overnight at Tented Accommodation.
Day 10: Chitwan National Park-Lumbini: After breakfast drive to Lumbini, the birth place ofGautama Buddha, Lord Buddha was born in the garden of Nepal's Lumbini in 623 B.C. in the past Lumbini had attained great civilization and prosperity and there are many evidences of visits by Kings to this pious place. One such visitor was Indian emperor Ashoka in 249 B.C. during his visit he erected a grand monolith with an inscription to his visit to this sacred place. Lumbini has many new monasteries built by the several countries. On arrival at Lumbini, check in hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11: Lumbini: After breakfast, full day local visit at Lumbini forest, the Mahamaya Temple,Ashoka Pillar, now these days around Lumbini lot of New Monasteries and World Peace Pagoda, visit East and West Zone Monasteries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Lumbini-Varanasi: Early morning after breakfast long drive (6-7 hrs) to Varanasi, on arrival check in hotel. Varanasi is a city situated on the west bank of the River Ganges, regarded as holy by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains, and is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. The culture of Varanasi is closely associated with the River Ganges and the river's religious importance. Varanasi is home to the Banaras Hindu University. Residents mainly speak Kashika People often refer to Varanasi as "the city of temples", "the holy city of India", "the religious capital of India", "the city of lights", "the city of learning" and the "culture capital of India".
Day 13: Varanasi: Early in the morning boat ride at River Ganges for Sun Rise, later visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, BHU (Benares Hindu University), & Bharat Maata Temple. Drive back to hotel for breakfast, later commence sightseeing of Sarnath, visit the places where Lord Buddha delivers the first sermon. Drive back to Varanasi city. Rest of the time local market. In time dep. transfer to Railway Station board overnight train to Agra.
Day 14: Arrival Agra: Early in the morning arrival at Agra, meet to assistance drive to hotel, check in hotel , later visit Taj Mahal. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Agra-Delhi: After breakfast check out, later drive to Delhi en route visit Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival at Delhi check in hotel for overnight stay.
Day 16: Delhi: After breakfast full day New and Old Delhi sightseeing, farewell dinner, later in time dep. transfer to onward destination. End of our services.
