DAY 01 : ARRIVAL DELHI :
Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, India, meet to our
representative, transfer to pre-booked hotel for rest of the night.
DAY 02 : DELHI :
After breakfast commence full day New & Old Delhi sightseeing
tours, Having a peak into the history of Delhi would give you an
insight to the rich heritage of Indian culture and tradition. It also
lets you know the lives and work style of various rulers who ruled
Delhi in yester years. As the history books suggest, Delhi has been
built and re-built more than 5 times at different sites in and around
Delhi but the correct reference is found in the Mahabharata as the city
of Pandavas, also called Indraprastha, some 3000 years ago. The city
has a historic importance of its own with every crumbling walls of the
city has a story to tell. Delhi has witnessed a rise and fall of major
power during 12th century. Until the influx of outsiders, Delhi was
home to the Hindu rulers somewhere during the 12th century. Muslim rule
in India was established in 12th century after Mohammed Gauri defeated
Prithviraj Chauhan. Than occupied by British. Visit Old Delhi as Red
Fort (Out side), Chadani Chowk, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and Swami Narayan
Akshardham Temples. After lunch visit Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple,
& Government Buildings as India Gate, President House,
& Raj Path. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03 : DELHI-JAIPUR : (250 kms/ 4-5 hrs Drive)

After an early breakfast drive to Jaipur, on arrival check into the
hotel, Rest of the time visit The Pink City. Jaipur is the capital of
Rajasthan and India's "Golden Triangle of Tourism". It is also known as
"Pink city" and pink with beautifully constructed palaces, havelis and
forts. It is just 250 kms faraway from Delhi, and 260 kms from Agra. In
old Age, Jaipur was covered by seven gates. Those are Chandpol,
Sanganeri and Ajmeri. Tall, rugged men with handle-bar whiskers sport
link colored turbans were built in 1727 A.D. by Sawai Jai Singh-II.
Jaipur was the first planned city of its time, was designed by the
architect "VIDHYADHAR BHATTACHARYA". He used the principles of town
planning, as laid down in the shipla shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise
on architecture. He build the city palace and the largest stone
observatory in the world employing the same principles. A marvel in
town planning, Jaipur is harmonious blend of culture, education
religion and historical monuments. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 : JAIPUR :
After breakfast commence full day sightseeing, Mount Amer Fort by
Elephant back, When Jaipur was built, Amber was the Capital of the old
state of Dhundhar and ruled by Mina Tribes, located upon hills that
surround Jaipur. The fort, sprawled along the Maotha lake, boast so of
a massive complex gateways, courts, strain ways and pillared pavilions,
and palaces that recall the glory and wealth of its association with
the Mughals. Later visit City Palace; City Palace is the most important
landmark of Jaipur which covers a large area divided into a series of
courtyards, gardens and buildings. This is a wonderful blend of
Rajasthan and Mughal architecture, a major tourist attraction. The
center of this palace is the seven Stories CHAND MAHAL or THE MOON
PALACE which provides a fine view of the gardens and the city. Its
ground and first floor has been converted into Maharaja Sawai Man Singh
II Museum. Observatory, one of the Sawai Jai Singh's five remarkable
observatories. Constructed with stone and marble, its complex
instruments whose setting and shapes are precisely and scientifically
designed, represent the high-points of medieval Indian astronomy. Wind
Palace, Built in 1799, The HAWA MAHAL (The Palace of the Winds) is one
of the most strikingly designed monument in Jaipur, was built by the
poet-king Sawai Pratap Singh. It is a stunning example of Rajput
artistry, with its pink semi octagonal and delicately honeycombed
sandstone windows (jali) and Birla Temple. Rest of the time visit the
Old city for shopping etc. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05 : JAIPUR-FATEHPUR SIKRI- AGRA (260 kms/
5-6 hrs Drive) :
Morning leave Jaipur to Agra, en route visit Fathepur Sikri, The
historical city was constructed by Mughal emperor Akbar beginning in
1570 and served as the empire's capital from 1571 until 1585, when it
was abandoned for reasons that remain unclear. Akbar had inherited the
Mughal Empire from his father Humayun and grandfather Babur. During the
1560s he rebuilt the Agra Fort and established it as his capital. With
his wife Mariam-uz-Zamani he had a son and then twins, but the twins
died. He then consulted the Sufi Saint Salim Chishti from the Chishti
Order who lived as a recluse in the small town Sikri near Agra. Later
continue drive to Agra (36 kms/ one hr.) check in hotel. Rest of the
time leisure for individual activities. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 06 : AGRA – DELHI (230 kms/ 4-5 hrs Drive) :
Very early in the morning visit the world famous love monument "Taj
Mahal" (Closed Every Friday) is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Anyone who knows India is familiar with the name Taj Mahal. The Taj
Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra that was built under Mughal
Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Mumtaz
Mahal married Shah Jehan in 1612 . This was his second marriage, and
the couple loved each other greatly. Mumtaz Mahal had fourteen children
while with Shah Jehan, and died in child birth in 1630 while away on a
battle with Shah Jehan. Legend has it that Shah Jehan was so devastated
by her death that in the course of only a few months, his beard and
hair had turned completely white. Mumtaz Mahal's body was buried for
six months, then was returned to Agra, later to be permanently buried
in the Taj, The Taj Mahal, designed by two Persian architects, was
built by Shah Jehan to create a memorial for Mumtaz Mahal. This
monument was constructed as a display of Shah Jehan's eternal love for
his wife. The building of the Taj began in 1632. An army of 20,000
workers labored on this structure. The Taj Mahal is often referred to
as "the greatest single work of Safavid art ever constructed". In 1648,
on the exact anniversary of Mumtaz's death, this wonderful monument was
completed. The Taj Mahal is located on the river Yamuna in Agra.
Later drive back to hotel take breakfast, check out and continue visit Agra Fort (Closed Every Monday) , is Heritage site located in Agra. The fort is also known as Lal Qila, and Red Fort of Agra. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its much more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. Akbar decided to make it his capital and arrived in Agra in 1558. His historian. It was in a ruined condition and Akbar had it rebuilt with red sandstone. Architects laid the foundation and it was built with bricks in the inner core with sandstone on external surfaces. Some 1,444,000 builders worked on it for eight years, completing it in 1573. It was only during the reign of Akbar's grandson, Shah Jahan, that the site finally took on its current state. The legend is that Shah Jahan built the beautiful Taj Mahal for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Unlike his grandfather, Shah Jahan tended to have buildings made from white marble, often inlaid with gold or semi-precious gems. He destroyed some of the earlier buildings inside the fort in order to make his own. After lunch drive to Delhi. On arrival meet to our representative drive to restaurant for farewell dinner, In time departure transfer to international airport for onward journey. End our services.
