The Kumaon region toward the Tibet and Nepal border, this area is the paradise of trekkers. Protected from the onslaught of the outside world, the Himalayan ecology remains well conserved here, making the region a great retreat for the lovers of nature. The trek to the Milam Glacier is amongst the best of treks in this region, taking you through some of the remotest areas with breathtaking panorama. Finally reaching the glacier, one is awed by the splendor of the majestic Mt.Trishul (7070m) which stands tall dwarfing everything in the vicinity.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi-Kathgodam : On arrival meet to assistance drive to hotel for rest of the night, Am leisure for more relax, Pm half day Journey, Old Delhi visit Red Fort, Raj Ghat (Gandhi Memorial), Jama Mosque, and Government Building. Late evening take train to Kathgodam (300km) Overnight train.
Day 02 :Arrival Kathgodam-Almora : Early in the morning arrival at Kathagodam, 85 km drive to Almora, on arrival check in hotel rest of the day leisure visit for the Mall Road and temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Almora-Munsiyari (2135m) 205 km. - After an early breakfast drive to munsiyari, through the spectacular mountain countryside of Kumaon shivalik range, and small Himalayan village, markets. Reach Munsiyari (2290m), a small town amidst heavenly environs. On arrival check in guest house or hotel.
Day 04 : Munsiyari - Full day leisure for acclimatization and preparation for next day.
Day 05 : Munsiyari-Railkot (3130m) 12Kms; 7-8 hrs walking : A jeep track brings you up-to the road-head at Bog Udyar, from where you begin the trek to the village Rilkot (3130m). Overnight in Tents.
Day 06 : Railkot-Panchu (3270m) 9 km. 4-5 hrs. - Early morning proceed the trek up along the river Gori Ganga upto Panchu. Camp overnight at a scenic location. Overnight in Tents.
Day 07 : Panchu-Milam village - Trek to Milam (3420m) 4-5 hrs trek : After breakfast commence trek to Milam village, the last village en- route. The place is surrounded by glaciers and high mountain peaks, making it an awe inspiring location. Overnight in Tents.
Day 08 : Milam : Full day leisure for exploring the area and acclimatization.
Day 09 : Milam-Nitwal Thaur : Take the trail up along the Milam Glacier to reach Nitwal Thaur. Set up camp at a suitable place. Overnight in Tents.
Day 10 : Suraj Kund Excursion : Continue along the glacier to a point where one crosses over the glacier (4242m) to reach the beautiful Suraj Kund ('Pond of the Sun'), which lies at the base of the Tirsul peak(7070m). Get an extreme close up view of several giant peaks(over7000m) from here. Return to camp site.
Day 11 : Nitwal Thaur - Milam : After breakfast retrace trek to Milam, on arrival tea, coffee will be ready for you serve, overnight tent.
Day 12 : Milam-Burfu (4-5 hrs trekking) : Take a different trail to return. Follow the river down on the left bank to reach village Burfu. Overnight in Tents.
Day13 : Burfu-Rilkot (6-7 hrs trek) : Continue downstream to reach Rilkot. Overnight in Tents.
Day14 : Rilkot-Bog Udiyar - Munsiyari : Return trek to he road-head at Bog Udyar and then drive to Munsiyari. Overnight in Tents or Rest House. ( 6-7 hrs walking and 2 hrs drive)
Day 15 : Munsiyari- Kausani : Early in the morning drive to Kausani, en route visit Bageshwat Shiva's temples, on arrival at Kaushani, check in hotel rest of the day visit tea plantation.
Day 16 : Kausani-Almora-Nainital : Early morning witness the sun rise, later drive to Nainital, on arrival check in hotel for overnight, rest of the time explore the Mall and Temple.
Day 17 : Nainital-Delhi : Full day visit at Nainital, late evening drive to Kathgodam, take overnight train to Delhi.
Day 18 : Arrival Delhi Dep. : Early morning arrival at Delhi, drive to hotel, wash and change, PM sightseeing of New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb & Lotus Temple. After dinner, late evening in time dep. Transfer to international airport.
