Hospit, Hampi is a world heritage site is situated on the bank of the river Tungabhdra in the Bellary region. The Virupaksha Temples one of the earliest structure in Hamp, the Archaeological museum of Matangi hill, the Archyutaraya temple at the foot of Matangi hills. Chikmangalur situated in the south western part of Karnataka with the western ghats forming a natural boundary on the west.
