National Natural Park. An alpine valley formed by retreating
glaciers, whose movements through millions of years shakes
the hard rocks beneath, forming a unique U-shapped valley.
This unusual valley is flanked in either side by lofty peaks
that remain snow-capped round the year. Ths Pushpawtin River,
emerging from the glaciers merge into the river. The best
blooming season in the valley is start from mid June-last
of Aug. when it’s full bloom splendour. More than 300

more thane slight degree of truth. Ladakh is the most remote region
of India, a barren, virtually rainless area which lies north of
the Himalayas, an area know geographically as the Tibetan plateau.
Ladakh is a land that abounds in awesome physical features set in
as enormous landscape and therefore, it appears beautifully desolate
and remote. Yet, over the centuries, it has imbibed diverse ethnic,
religious and cultural influences through the many missionaries,
explorers and traders who traversed its windswept plateau and deep
valleys. In the process, it has been able to evolve and inherit
a rich culture, which survives even today as a living heritage of
the Western Himalayas. This heritage finds manifestation in the
region’s monuments, monasteries, art and oral literature,
fairs and festival and in the time-honored traditions of collective
celebration of various events.
