Day 01: Arrival Delhi: On arrival meet to assistance drive to hotel for rest of the time.
Day 02: Delhi- After breakfast full day New & Old Delhi sightseeing. Visit Red Fort (Out side), Market Chandani Chowck, Jama Mosque, Rajght (Gandhi Memorial) post lunch visit Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple (Bahai Temple) Humayun Tombe and Government Building including Rajpath. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi-Nainital (1988m) : After breakfast drive to Nainital 310 km/ 6-7 hrs drive, Nainital is a town in the Uttaranchal State in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. Situated at an altitude of 1,938 m., Nainital is set in a valley containing a pear-shaped lake, approximately two miles in circumference, and surrounded by mountains, of which the highest are Naina (2,615 m)) on the north. From the tops of the higher peaks, "magnificent views can be obtained of the vast plain to the south, or of the mass of tangled ridges lying north, bounded by the great snowy range which forms the central axis of the Himalayas.
Day 04: Nainital- Full Day sightseeing of the lack city visit Sat Tal, Naikuchia Tal, Bhimtal and China Tower. Rest of the time visit local market. Overnight hotel.
Day 05: Nainital-Almora (1646m): (85 km.) Early morning after breakfast drive to Almora, en route stop of photos etc. Almora, before its establishment was under the possession of Katyuri King. He donated major part of this land to a Gujrati Brahmin Sri Chand Tiwari Later on when Chand kingdom was founded in Baramandal, the town of Almora was founded at this centrally located place in 1568 by Kalyan Chand. It is a town bustling with activity and a rich cultural heritage and history. It is considered the cultural heart of the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand.
Day 06 Almora- Pithorgarh (1815m) : (125 km) After breakfast drive to Pithoragarh en route visit Jageshwar temple, More than 100 small and large shrines of this complex, the three outstanding ones, in terms of sculpture, are dedicated of Jageshwar, Mrityunjaya and Pushtidevi. Jageshwar temple has sculpted dwarpals standing guard at its entrance . Although the presiding deity at Jageshwar is shiva a strong Buddhist influence is visible in the carvings. Continue drive to Pithoragarh is a small town. It lies in the centre of the western half of the Soar Valley. It is prettily dotted with villages, generally placed on eminences. The view from Pithoragarh is very fine as all the peaks of Panch Chulhi, Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot are visible from high spots in the town. Pithoragarh, is known as the gateway to the Himalaya's from the north, as pilgrims trek through this town to the Kailash Mansarover and Om Parwat.
Day 07: Pithoragarh-Munsiyari (2290m) : (154 km) After early breakfast drive to Munsyari via Thal, Askot and Joljibi, this tiny town is famous for his tribes Johari Population, migrate to their summer settlements to engage in trade with the advent of spring. Although, Johars still deal in woolens and herbs, there are a number of Johars who have turned to agriculture and horticulture. Nonetheless they all are confined to Munsiyari alone. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Munsiyari : After breakfast full day local village visit witness the local culture and mood of life. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Munsiyari-Chakori (2010m) : After breakfast drive 108 km to Chakori, en route visit typical Himalayan village. Overnight at hotel or fix tent.
Day 10 : Chakori-Kaushani (1890m) : After an early breakfast drive to 90 km to famous hill spot to Kaushani, via Bageshwar visit Bagnath Temple (Shiva temple) continue drive to Baijinath, the ancient Shiva and Parwati temple than drive to Kaushani. On the way you can see the Himalayan tea plantation, this is the best quality tea of India. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Kausani-Ranikhet (1829m) : 60km. Early morning get up to witness the whole Himalayan range, this is the best time for take a photo you can see Trisuli (7210m) Nanda Kot (6861m) Nanda Devi (7816m) Hathi Parwat (6727m) Chaukhamba (7138m) Panchuli (6874m) Dunagiri (7066m) and some more peaks and the very endless ideal view of Kumaon valley. Later drive to Ranikhet. On arrival at check in hotel visit the local market.
Day 12 : Ranikhet-Jim Corbett : (90km) Early morning after breakfast drive to Jim Corbet National Park, for tiger reserve, evening gem ride, Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Jim Corbett : Morning and evening gem ride. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Jim Corbett-Delhi : Early in the morning drive to Delhi 230 km, on arrival check in hotel for wash and change. In time dep. Transfer to international airport.
Day 15 : Back to home. |
