Arrival Kolkata: On arrival at Kolkata international airport, meet to our representative and transfer to hotel for rest of the night.
Kolkata: After breakfast commence full day local sightseeing, of the Victorian architecture city Kolkata and known to have produced some of India's greatest writers. Visit Flowers Market, Howrah Bridge, Ghat, Jain Temple, Kumar Tuli, BBD Square, Maidan, Writers Buildings, & Kali Temple. Rest of the time local New Market. Overnight at hotel.
Kolkata - Bagdogra - Darjeeling (90 Km): After a leisurely start, drive to Kolkata airport, board flight to Bagdogra, on arrival meet to our representative and transfer to Darjeeling covering arond 90 Km through the tea plantation and typical settlement of Darjeeling hill. Darjeeling is the famous hill station in the West Bangal hill. On arrival check in hotel, rest of the time leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Darjeeling: Very early in the morning visit the Tiger Hill to explore the Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. Drive back to Darjeeling en route visit Ghoom Monastery, after breakfast explore the sprawling town of Darjeeling. See the Botanical Gardens, and visit the Himalayan Moutaineering Institute. If the time is allowed you will travel by Toy Train from Darjeeling to Ghoom. This is the world heritage train. Rest of the time visit Chaurasta. Overnight at hotel.
Darjeeling - Pelling (Pemayangtse): After breakfast drive to Pelling (Pemayangtse) via Melli, border between Sikkim and West Bengal, where you Sikkim permit will be check, Jorthang, Nayabazaar and Gazing before driving through the mountains to the small town of Pelling. En route visit Rabdentse ruins. On arrival at Pelling check in hotel for overnight stay.
Pelling: Full day sightseeing of Pemayangtse Monastery, Khechupalri lake, and Tashiding Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
Pelling - Ravangla - Gangtok: After an early breakfast drive to Gangtok, you will follow the same road up to Legsip, from there take left turn to up hill driving to Ravangla, recently in 2012, this is a big Buddha copper statue was established. Continue drive to Gangtok, on arrival check in hotel, rest of the time visit M. G. Road. Overnight at hotel.
Gangtok: Early morning visit to one of India's busiest and most famous monasteries at Rumtek. After lunch visit Enchey Monasery, Do-drul Chorten, Tibetology, Orchid Nursery, and Local market at MG Road. Overnight at hotel.
Gangtok - Rangpo - Kalimpon: After an early breakfast drive to Kaimpong via Rangpo check post, where you visa and passport will be check, due to exit from Sikkim. On arrival at Kalimpong visit Cactus Nursery, Durpin Monastery (The Zang Dhok Palri Phodang), Rest of the time free for explore the local market. If you will be on Saturday at Kalimbong, you will visit the weekend market, that is the highlight of Kalimpong. Overnight at hotel.
Kalimpong - Phuentsholing: After an early breakfast drive to Phuentsholing through the plan of Assam, this is the long day drive. On the way you will get the nice landscape with full of tea plantation. On arrival at Jalgaon (Indian side), do the formalities of get Bhutanese Visa. Very soon cross the border and enter Bhutan (Phuntsholong) & check in hotel. Rest of the time leisure for individual activities. Overnight at hotel.
Phuentsholing - Thimphu: After breakfast drive to Thimpu, en route visit Zangto Pelri Lhakhang (Monatery) further cross the small town Gedu, follow the Paro Chhu River. On arrival at Thimphu, check in hotel. Rest of the time free for relax.
Thimpu: Breakfast at hotel, later explore the capital city of Bhutan. The capital Thimphu itself sprawls up the western hillside of the Wang Chhu and is the centre of government, religion and commerce. Sightseeing includes National Memorial Chorten, Trashi Chhoe Dzong, Takin Zoo, Weaving Centre, National Library TheWweekend market, Folk Heritage Museum, Handmade Paper Factory and Big Statue or Lord Buddha. Rest of the time visit local market, dinner and overnight at hotel.
Thimphu - Dochula – Punakha: After breakfast drive to Punakha over the Dochula Pass 3150 M. The high mountain pass of Dochu La with its forests of fluttering prayer flags, maze of memorial chortens and, on a clear day, sweeping views of the main Himalayan range. Then the road crosses over to the breathtaking Punakha Valley where we wind our way down to the valley floor past verdant terraced hills and past the majestic Punakha Dzong and then along the river bank of the Mo Chhu river. On arrival visit the Punakha Dzong & short walk in the local market. Overnight at hotel.
Punakha – Paro: Morning visit Wangdi Dzong later back to Paro, en route visit Chimi Lhakhang, Punakha. A short walk across rice paddies takes us to Chimmi Lhakhang, a fertility temple dedicated to Drukpa Kuenley, a Tibetan Buddhist saint known popularly as the Divine Madman. The temple sits atop a picturesque hill surrounded by rice fields. Drukpa Kuenley built a Chorten on the site in the 14th century and it has long been a pilgrimage site for couples hoping to start a family. We then travel by car and retrace our steps over the Dochu La Pass for a second view of the wonderful Himalayan range. After check-in, we invite you to spend the rest of the day relaxing enjoying the facilities, trying an activity like the Bhutanese national sport of archery in local market.
Paro: After breakfast drive to Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress from where Bhutanese warriors fought Tibetan invaders centuries ago. Along the way, see the 7th C. Later visit also includes the Taktsang Monastery (approx 3 hours steep walk) famously known as the Tiger's Nest. Descend trek till the roadhead, take your vehicle and drive to Paro, en route visit Kyichu Lhakhangone of the most sacred shrines in the country. Rest of the time free for individual activities.
Paro: Breakfast at hotel, later proceed to local sightseeing of Paro Valley, visit the Ta Dzong, originally as a Watch Tower, houses the National Museum. Then follow the trail down to Rinpung Dzong. Rest of the time enjoy the Bhutanese National game archery. Overnight at hotel.
Paro – Delhi or Kolkata: Morning flight to Delhi or Kolkata, on arrival meet to our representative an transfer to hotel for day use only. After farewell Dinner drive to International airport, back home with sweet memories.
